LAUTECH Admission Screening (UTME/DE) 2016: Eligibility, Screening And Registration Details

Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, (LAUTECH) Ogbomoso hereby invites candidates who made the university their first choice of institution and scored 200 and above in the 2016 UTME LAUTECH to log on to LAUTECH, Ogbomoso admissions website www.admissions.lautech.edu.ng and register for the screening exercise.

UTME candidates who also participated in the 2015/2016 PDS programme of LAUTECH and scored at least 180 in the 2016 UTME are also to log on the same website for information on the screening exercise

Direct Entry[DE] candidates who chose LAUTECH, Ogbomoso their first institution and have a minimum of Upper Credit in the National Diploma, Credit in NCE and Lower Credit in HND in relevant courses are also to visit the admissions website as well

The screening process for both UTME and DE candidates is scheduled to commence from Wednesday, July 20 to Wednesday, August 3, 2016.

METHOD OF APPLICATION
Candidates are required to;
(i) proceed to log on to the university’s website www.admissions.lautech.edu.ng to make payment of non-refundable fee of Two thousand, two hundred Naira (N2,200.00) only for the purpose of online registration for the screening and result checking, using inter-switch enabled debit cards (ATM).
(ii) Carefully complete and submit online the application form;
(iii) Upload a digital copy of scanned passport photograph with white background not more than 20kb which must be in JPEG (i.e. jpg) with no eye glasses or veil and
(iv) Print out the acknowledgement page to ascertain successful registration.

OTHER RELEVANT INFORMATION

(i). UTME/DE Candidates
The candidates for the UTME and DE should note the following important information;
(a) That blurred or unclear picture on the acknowledgement page will not be accepted for screening, as the photograph will be used as means of identification.
(b) That candidates who posses five credit in the relevant subjects will be allowed to upload their results.
(c) That candidates who are awaiting results are eligible to apply for the screening.
(d) That scanned copy of certificate (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB/GCE or statement of result from schools will be accepted.
(e) That late completion/submission of the online application forms will not be entertained.

(ii). DE Candidates

Candidates are expected to register online for the screening with the following:
Direct Entry candidates are expected to register online for the screening exercise with the following:
(a) O’Level results
(b) Certificates/Statement of results as applicable
(c) DE registration print-out from JAMB’s website, and
(d) Acknowledgement page print-out from the online registration.

Candidates are also expected to forward their academic transcripts directly to the Registrar of the University before the date of the screening.
All correspondences on 2016/2017 UTME/DE screening exercise should be forwarded to screening@lautech.edu.ng.

The result of the screening exercise will be published on the same website.

LAUTECH Important Notice To Students On Re- opening Of Registration Portal

At its meeting of Wednesday, June 17, 2015, Senate considered the need to have the student portals re-opened to allow 200-500 level students who were yet to register on account of their inability to pay their fees, consequent on the economic realities in the country, to do so before the commencement of the 2014/2015 Harmattan Semesters examinations.

Senate eventually approved that:

(i) the portals be re-opened immediately and be kept opened

till midnight of Friday, July 10, 2015;

(ii) the 2014/2015 Harmattan Semester Examinations should now

commence as indicated below:

(a) 100 level examinations - Monday, June 29, 2015;

(b) 200 – 500 level examinations - Monday, July 13, 2015.

All affected students are enjoined to take advantage of this Senate’s magnanimity and get registered before the expiration of the new deadline (i.e. midnight of Friday, July 10, 2015).

Lautech 12th convocation ceremony name confirmation and payment portal is now open. All 2012/2013 graduands are hereby informed to visit the portal and do what is necessary.

The management of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso has opened a portal whereby graduands to be convocated in the forthcoming convocation ceremony of the university. The school has also listed the payments to be made ahead of the ceremony.

General Information About Lautech 12th Convocation Ceremony

All Lautech 2012/2013 graduating students should note the following:

➢ Graduands are to collect academic gowns and invitation cards as from Monday, April 13, 2015 from their respective Faculty Officers/College Secretary (in the case of College of Health Sciences) and Secretary, Postgraduate School (in the case of higher degrees).
➢ The prescribed charges (as indicated below) are to be paid using INTERSWITCH Enabled Debit Cards. Payments should be made online at http://portal.lautech.edu.ng/convocation. The receipt issued will be required for the collection of academic gowns, invitation cards, convocation booklets and certificates. See more details here
➢ Please note that the convocation programme will be made available to graduands at the venue on presentation of proof of the payment made with valid pay printout/receipt. These will also be available to members of the public at the rate ofN1, 000:00

➢ Masters/Postgraduate Diplomas N6,500.00

➢ Ph.D degree N13,000.00

➢ Graduands are to note that hired academic gowns are to be returned on or before Thursday, April 30, 2015, to their respective Faculty Officers/College Secretary/Secretary Post Graduate School from whom they collected them, failing which defaulters will pay a fine ofN500.00 (Five hundred Naira) each day until the gown is returned.
